Customer Reviews

Walking into that place felt like an old Roadhouse diner and on top of that the gizzards that I ordered were some of the best gizzards I have ever had and I think it's just spoiled me and I don't want to have gizzards anywhere else. The bartender was nice. She was great on point and never stopped dropping her smile. She was amazing the host of the restaurant. Sheila, absolutely amazing! Not only did she host she was also a great cook.

Very nice and reasonable place for some breakfast. More of a locals place, no frills menu. Kind of off the beaten path, no real signage- almost drove past it. Also pretty hard to figure out where the entrance was, but once inside I found a dated but very clean bar/restaurant/hall. Nothing fancy, but very polite service, coffee actually tasted like coffee, had biscuits and gravy in front of me within 10 minutes. Biscuits are fluffy, gravy is good, nice sausage taste, doesn't taste like flour mush like other places. Again- this is a locals restaurant- so I did get some strange looks when I walked in, but no issues or harrassment. Get there early if you want the biscuits and gravy, they only make so much and once it's gone, it's gone. Left a $20 tip, and headed back to Chicago. I'll be back next time I'm in Pontiac.
